You'll be surprised at just how much your time and skills can help. Whether you have a passion for restoring furniture, an eye for detail or a gift for dealing with people, your unique skills will be greatly welcomed and appreciated.
As a Salvos Stores volunteer, you'll be joining a friendly, caring team of people who give their spare time to help the Salvos. You'll also have the satisfaction of knowing you're using your talents in a positive, creative way. We will place you in the area best suited to your skills and we offer training for every volunteer.

Ways you can help
Retail
- Placing stock on display
- Building displays
- Customer service
- Housekeeping
Maintenance
- Assisting with general maintenance in warehouse and/or stores
- Repairing or cleaning furniture
- Restoration of old furniture
- Testing and/or repair of electrical appliances/computers
Production
- Sorting clothes, bric-a-brac, toys, books, etc.
- Assisting with tagging and pricing of donations
- Hanging clothing
Trucks
- Truck driving or assisting with collections and deliveries of donations
