Don't dump it!

Recycle with the Salvos but please dump your rubbish in the bin. It’s really important that the items you donate are quality items.

• Nationally in 2005, it cost The Salvation Army more than $3 million dollars to remove rubbish and clean up goods that have been dumped outside Salvos Stores after-hours and rummaged through by people.
• Annually the Salvos take the equivalent of 4,000 truckloads of unusable items to the tip.

This diverts vital funds away from those who most need our support.

Salvos Stores welcome items in good condition and working order including clothing, furniture, utensils, homewares, manchester, toys and books.
