A Volunteer for 13 Years

'I started to volunteer at the Salvation Army Store at North Gosford in May 2000. My neighbour talked me into it. I thought I would give it a try, as I always thought the Salvation Army did a lot to help people. I have met some very nice people and made some lovely friends. I enjoy my work in the bric-a-brac and have a very good helper, Greg. I would recommend volunteering to anyone. It's not all work you do have fun as well. If you feel a bit down you go to work your worries seem to disappear for a while. So volunteering helps you as well as others. Lorraine - Salvos Stores West Gosford Volunteer
